She seemed to really enjoy her day

Prizes

Ailish and her friend Rosie were presented with the Community P7 award by Gifford Horticultural Society at the annual flower show on Saturday. Apparently it's for being the most enviromentally friendly pupils.

Only a week to go!!!

Well next Thursday (12th) should be an exciting day. It's my last say at Plaspac, yep after 3 years and 3 months.... but whose counting, I'm off. Start my HND in September, little nervous about being far too old for student life but will give it a go.

Friday we are off to Ireland for a week. We have never been with the girls in summer before. They are really looking forward to it staying at www.Glendel.ie gives us a wee bit more freedom.

The kids got on really well and it was lovely to see them again.

Rosi's Birthday

I had been asked for photo's of Rosi's birthday party.

She had a makeover party. Her and four friends were collected by limo and taken to the venue in Edinburgh where they met up with the rest of her friends. They were then pampered with hair and makeup and taught some dance routines to high school musical.

SCARRRYY

We love this photo of Alix don't you think she's a little bit scary

May update

Well we have had a rather busy weekend.

For some idiotic reason I agreed to organise the School fete this year which was on Saturday. Those of you living north of the border will know it was P***ing it down. AAAAAhhh. Luckily we had booked a marquee which saved the day. A grand total of £1,300.00 was raised.

Ailish had dipped her toe into the world of business at the fete. She has set up Ish.Art which was a stall selling handpainted, photo frames, Door hangers, Bookmarks,
and pencil sharpeners. She bought all the items herself and paid for her stall. She was lucky and turned a small profit on the day.

Saturday night was Eurovision night. Ailish had 3 friends for a sleepover and they all watched the Singalong version on sky interactive. It's much better fun with a bunch of 11 year olds. Although even they had cottoned on to the politics. Martin was at school with the girl who sang the Irish entry.

Rosi, was away staying with her friend Charlotte as they were appearing as dancers in the Scotty and Lulu show at the Leith Links festival. She had a great time but it was apparently very cold and wet. Scotty and Lulu are children's entertainers famous for songs such as Woopee and Pooh on my shoe!!!!

Me and Martin

Finally found a half decent photo of the two of us. This was taken at a friends party on Boxing Day. We had had one or two Sherbets

Rosi Passes Modern Exam

Rosi has passed her I.s.t.d. Grade 1 modern exam with merit scoring 72 out of a possible 100. This was only her 2nd exam and she was very nervous. We are all really proud of her. She is still waiting for the results of her Ballet exam.

Our Strange Cat

Archie is our cat and over the weeks we've noticed that he does lots of strange things like sit amongst the toys on top of Rosi's wardrobe.

Bite peoples feet.

And even eat off of a plate!

Surfing at John Muir

Me and Rosi went surfing and it was great fun! You have to wear wet-suits and boots and gloves to match. At first we just lay on the board but near the end most of us could nearly stand up.

check out the chicks here

Hi

Claire has videod chicks check them out at http://video.tinypic.com/player.php?v=42xnxnp

Chicks Chicks & More chicks

4 chicks were born last Friday. Fantastic as were put under a friends hen none of mine would go broody. Especially nice as looks as though two chicks might have come from Rosi's hen Barney who died last week.

Martin

Thanks for all the calls and cards etc....
Martin is recovering slowly, in a great deal of pain and discomfort still. He has discovered that sneezing is not a good idea and should be avoided at all costs..........
He'll be off work for at least six weeks

Welcome

Hi and welcome to our Blog, where we can keep you up to date with the goings on at the Kelly Household.
This is Rosi and Ailish with my Mum and Dad's new dog Saba. As you can see she is already a firm favourite with the girls.
